my name is Erica Moran. i am a woodworker, teacher, and writer. I make one-of-a-kind, squiggly, whimsical wooden homewares. My passion is woodturning, which I do using reclaimed scrap and local wood. I work out of my father’s woodshop in Ridgefield, CT, where he has conducted his own custom furniture business for over 25 years.
due to the beautiful, unpredictable nature of wood and the way I prefer to work, no two pieces are ever the same, but I am always happy to recreate similar shapes and designs upon request.
